Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Federal Health to lead and expand the company’s federal health business. This executive will have responsibility for both successful contract delivery and business growth, with a focus on building strong customer relationships, delivering high-quality solutions, and identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the federal health market. 

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of federal health programs and contracting, particularly within agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This individual will be both strategic and hands-on, working closely with company leadership, delivery teams, customers, partners, and prospective clients. 

Key Responsibilities : 

Federal Health Delivery 

• Provide executive oversight and leadership for federal health programs and contracts. 
• Ensure contract requirements, customer expectations, schedules, quality standards, and performance objectives are met. 
• Partner with program and technical leaders to identify and address delivery risks, resource needs, and customer concerns. 
• Maintain strong relationships with federal customers and serve as a senior point of contact for key accounts. 
• Support staffing and resource planning to ensure successful contract execution. 
• Monitor program performance and provide leadership with regular updates, risks, and recommendations. 
• Promote consistent quality, accountability, and customer satisfaction across federal health engagements. 

Business Development and Growth 

• Develop and execute growth strategies. 
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within CMS, HHS, and other federal health agencies. 
• Build and maintain relationships with government customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and industry partners. 
• Lead or support capture activities, including opportunity identification, customer engagement, Develop and maintain a healthy federal health pipeline in partnership with company leadership. 
• Represent Tech2i at relevant industry events, conferences, customer meetings, and networking activities. 

Executive Leadership 

• Partner with the President/CEO and other members of leadership to establish and execute company strategy. 
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations regarding federal health trends, customer priorities, competitors, and emerging opportunities. 
• Help establish business development priorities and allocate resources based on company goals. 
• Mentor and support employees involved in program delivery and business development. 
• Contribute to company-wide strategic planning and operational decision-making. 
• Represent Tech2i professionally with customers, partners, and the broader federal contracting community.  

Education and Experience [Required]

• Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 
• 10+ years of experience in federal contracting, federal health, or a related government services environment. 
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading federal health programs, preferably within CMS, HHS, or another federal health agency. 
• Demonstrated success in both program delivery and business development/capture. 
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition, contracting, and procurement processes. 
• Experience developing relationships with federal customers and industry partners. 
• Experience contributing to or leading federal proposals and capture efforts. 
• Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. 
•  Ability to operate effectively in a small, entrepreneurial organization where executives are expected to be both strategic and hands-on. 
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline. 
• Experience with CMS programs and federal health IT initiatives. 
• Existing relationships within CMS, HHS, or other federal health agencies. 
•  Experience working with small businesses and/or as a prime or subcontractor on federal contracts. 
• Experience developing and executing growth strategies for a federal health portfolio. 
• Demonstrated record of winning new federal business.
